Nigeria has a long and rich history of groundnut growing that dates back many centuries. In the 16th century, Portuguese explorers brought the crop, sometimes known as peanuts, to the area. Over time, groundnuts rose to prominence as one of Nigeria's primary agricultural products and were vital to both the domestic and international economies. Our groundnuts, which have their roots in Nigerian cuisine, are a testament to both the local farmers' skill in growing the best nuts and the many flavors of the nation. Our groundnuts come from Nigeria's fertile fields, where they thrive in the country's plentiful sunshine and nutrient-rich soil.

Our groundnuts' golden-brown color and enticing crunch beckon you to indulge in their savory charm.

Enjoy the delicious crunch and rich, nutty flavor of our groundnuts, which give a flavorful explosion of flavor with every bite.

Nigerian groundnuts are all natural—no preservatives or additives, just pure nuttiness.

PRESERVATION METHOD

Groundnuts that have been carefully chosen are masterfully prepared and fried to perfection, ensuring the best flavor and texture. Groundnuts can be preserved in several ways. Once the dry pods have been graded and cleaned, stack them up to ten bags high in different stacks and keep them in gunny bags to allow air to freely circulate between them. To protect them from moisture damage, the bags should be stacked on wooden boards. The groundnuts can also be boiled and kept in the refrigerated for up to 7 days. The groundnuts don't keep well in storage and are at their best when they are still fresh. By storing leftovers in a labeled, tightly-sealed container, you can extend their shelf life. After about a week, they will soften or start to spoil. Before storing, pods should be thoroughly dried to contain no more than 5% moisture. You may appreciate the natural goodness of our groundnuts because we don't add any artificial preservatives during preparation.
